Join a High-Impact Team as a Contract and Finance Administrator in Woolloongabba

AUD $40+ per hour plus Super (Flexible Hours)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in financial administration and contract management, ideally within a clinical research or healthcare setting. You'll be joining a dedicated team offering genuine flexibility in a casual full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce, monitor, and reconcile contract statements and budgets, researching and resolving financial discrepancies.
  • Manage key financial transactions, including third-party invoicing, facilitating payments for clinical trial subjects, and ensuring full reconciliation.
  • Perform detailed cost-analysis and audits on research studies to determine financial feasibility, "true costs," and ensure sponsor budgets are adequate.
  • Support the development and documentation of internal financial and operational processes, including creating process flow diagrams (e.g., with Visio).
  • Support the Principal Investigator and Finance Coordinator, acting as a key contact for all contractual, compliance, and financial queries.
  • Ensure contract documents meet regulatory obligations, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar financial administration, accounts, or contract coordination role.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a high, meticulous attention to detail, especially with complex budgets and financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders (e.g., researchers, finance teams, external parties).
  • Proven ability to develop and improve processes and work with various data/tracking systems.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently to manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, GCP, or healthcare environments is a major advantage.
  • Experience with process mapping software (like Visio), MYOB, Profile and Excel is highly desirable.
